this is a hottake so take what i say w a grain of salt. in overwatch in order to play on an account you need to have ur account verified w a phone number and a valid email. i feel like if riot followed their footsteps and implement this, it would make the smurfing problem die down a-lot. i’ve played ow for a while now and i rarely ever get smurfs in my ranked games, but when i hop on val, every other ranked game theres either a smurf on my side, or the enemies team, what do you guys think?
