I find phantom skin looking the best with a laser and a vertical grip equipped. Wondering if I buy the skin can I customize attachments as I want or game gives random ones every time?

If ive never played a ranked game of valorant, should i do my placement games/start grinding now, or am i better off playing normals till next season and then start playing ranked? Or maybe it doesnt matter at all?
