Hello, to the individuals who are taking the time off their day to read this post. I am currently Ascendant 1 (immortal 2 peak) in Valorant and I wanted to bring notice to something that has been bothering me as my rank got higher.

Valorant Trackers.

This might not be an issue for all of you, but for someone like me who wants to be anonymous and not let my rank be exposed, i find it very infuriating when the enemy team goes "omg you're (high rank) and playing like trash" or "oh you're (high rank) get a f*cking life" and there is literally nothing i can do to hide my stats from these trackers. Yes, i'm aware that there is a mute button but that won't change the fact they can still see my stats through tracker apps.

Even when I que for competitive, the amount of people i heard go "holy sh*t this guys K/DA is dog water i'm dodging" to other players in the lobby is absolutely ridiculous. I understand they are useful and can be used to have an idea on how your team is gonna play in your game, but I think it absolutely ass fucks peoples mentals when they realize they have a player who's stats don't meet their standards.

I never plan to use a Valorant tracker because i feel like if i saw the K/DA or Ranks of the opposing team it would throw me off and make me overthink that I will get absolutely stomped on by them or underestimate them and end up throwing a game. Most of the community believes that RANK and K/DA mean everything when there are so many aspects of the game that dictate whether you win or lose and people are blind to that.

It's a shame that Valorant doesn't have a way to privatize your profile especially if you don't want the entire world to know how good or bad you are. If anything, i think having the option to private your profile would do wonders for peoples mentals and people like myself who just wanna stay anonymous.

Edit: Even with anonymous mode people somehow still find out my stats which is why at this point I do not know what to do to avoid the tracker apps. THIS IS NOT AN ATTACK TO THOSE WITH TRACKER APPS SO PLEASE DON'T TAKE ANY OFFENSE FROM THIS POST.
