Haven't played in about a year or so, want to pick it up cause my friend has it but the last time I heard about it, the anti-cheat was sort of invasive and ran even on PC startup, and when the game was closed. Is it still like this?

Finally hit Diamond.
1 Year ago I was iron 2. Today i hit diamond for the first time after being stuck in plat for 3 acts. Use this as motivation. Even if you think you are hardstuck, one day you will for sure rank up :)
