I shift walk a lot when playing Val but in the group chat my friends and I suggested we should just w key around and see what happens.
For context we are silver/golds. First map breeze was just pure chaos. We didn’t care if the enemy heard us moving. The rule was anytime you move with WASD you could not use shift to quite your footsteps. This led to aggressive gameplay and the other teams hated it. We rushed sites when attacking and rushed the other team when defending. Site retake was easier than normal as well.
It was the best night of Val I’ve had in a long time. We went 3-1 in 4 games.
