in my games, no one was pushing mid, they just commited to a site. But, some people in my games did push mid and my friend said if pushing mid was a dumb idea because you will die to an operator user. what is the real benefit of pushing mid and what should i do?

I don't normally complain about valorant balance, but the Ares changes are straight up the least fun i've had playing this game since it came out.
The ares having a faster TTK now than the phantom AND the vandal while having high wall pen and zero ramp time makes the gun feel absolutely infuriating to play against. I don't want to insult riot's competency with the game they've clearly...
