I'm a new player (Iron 3) and I'm not sure if I'm doing things right or wrong or what's going to help or hinder me. Is there any bad habits I should get rid of or good habits I should learn?

Am I the only one whose Game isn't updating to patch 3.10?
I really want to play chamber but my valo just isn't updating. This kind of sucks since the patch was supposed to be there about an hour ago.
