What makes the Phantom better than the Vandal?

I've always seen comments on how the Phantom is better because of it's spray transfer but is there more than that for it to be better than the Vandal?

I'm asking since I never use the Vandal unless I pick it up on Eco rounds, I still perform good with it just like the Phantom

I don't want to waste my money on a skin on a gun I don't actually buy
