What rank are valorant casters?

This has been bothering me for a while now. Are they like immo or radiant? I’ve always wanted to watch the casters play.

Why do people not play smokers as often as other roles? (excluding Duelist).

I feel like 8/10 times I play if I dont pick a smoker we don't have one. Smokers are really fun and useful why do people avoid it like it's the worse impactless role?
