I play late at nights since that's usually when i have time to grind ranked. I just had a game where I am in the lobby, trying to get some comms going. No one answers for about 40 seconds. I get comms with a few seconds left after everyone's locked saying that 2 of our agents are drunk and not gonna try. I can't alt+F4 because I've already done it twice tonight (the joys of saturday night gaming). One guy goes AFK in the first round, everyone tries to remake except his drunk friend. That's an automatic 4v5 after the first round, guy doesnt come back for the rest of the game. We tried to FF 2 or 3 times and it was denied every time. Genuine discussion, what do you do with that? I get that you need to eat a loss every now and then, but nothing happens to that guy. There's no consequences. I understand it's hard to be proactive in monitoring that, but nothing is going to happen to this guy. Why am I the one that ends up eating the cost? Serious question, what are people supposed to do?
The whole game was recorded and can provide video evidence if people don't believe me. This type of game is just icing on the cake after getting 3-4 straight games of instalock duelists that can't perform and then something like this happens. Really ruins the experience of ranked, especially with the hard MMR reset. Hard to retain the MMR you had last act when your games are filled with stuff like this.
