The Valorant is to be launched on the China server, and different from other servers, there are limited edition cards offered ... Then I looked and saw a Chinese character "Wa". I once learned a little Chinese. Actually, this is a simple character but not widely used. It says online that the meaning is "tile", but I don't understand the connection between it and the Valorant. So I asked my Chinese teammate. He said that Chinese characters are pictographic. In ancient Chinese, this character means "precision", because the dot in the middle represents the crosshairs.
I thought, wow, it is so cool!!! Later I showed this off to one of my other Chinese classmates, but he has some different explainations about the character. He said "Wa" means "to completely defeat the enemy."
To be honest, I don't know which one is correct. Or both of them are right? At first, I thought it was Chinese calligraphy, limited edition, something like artwork. But now I'm starting to wondering maybe the two versions of explainations are both tricking me...
What do you think?
