I'm not talking about the 10 unrated wins before unlocking ranked, I mean like an actual restriction. Not one that you can spend a day completing.
Since they introduced account levels, it seemed kind of obvious that it was going to come with a level-based restriction like they have in League of Legends, but they just... didn't?
I get that at the beginning of season one they wanted to rush people into the ranked aspect of the game to vouch for the competitive nature of Valorant but after over a year it's probably time to bring in some sort of measure to prevent people from just playing on smurfs constantly. It's really beginning to seem like an every game thing where someone on my team or on the other team is smurfing.
As someone who plays a variety of other competitive games (especially f2p ones) smurfing is never going to be completely eliminated, I get that, but anyone in the same boat would agree that Valorant has a smurfing problem that other similar games simply do not have and a stricter ranked queue restriction seems like such a no brainer improvement to game quality.

Not sure if it has been discovered yet, but I found a glitchy surface in the range.
