Why are the black/brown hands modeled like this?

I'd first like to say one of my favorite things about Valorant is how different people and cultures are represented with each agent. It's clear they put a lot of thought, care and respect behind each agent. I'd also like to mention that Valorant is not the only fps game that struggles to accurately portray dark skin hands in their games.

I'm mainly making this post only because it bugs me. I'm not to try to cause problems for Riot or anything malicious. Just trying to bring attention to it, because after talking to my white friends, a few of them didn't even realize black and brown hands looked like this. Maybe a similar thing happened at Riot.

So, what am I referencing here?

In reality, our hands are not one flat shade all around. Our palms are a tan-ish color, and our nails are clear as well. Just like people with lighter skin tones.

Raze's palms are probably closest to being accurate. I feel like an attempt was made with Astra, but her palms end up looking kind of grey. Phoenix's hands are just one shade of brown all the way around and his fingernails are literally black.

Now, though I've dabbled in basic 3d modelling before I'm not sure how difficult it would be to accurately re-texture these hands. There's also a chance this was an intentional choice made by the Val team to maybe fit their art style. Other agent's hands and fingernails are also pretty much just one shade, but it is distracting when it comes to the darker skin tones.

Still, I did take the time to photoshop a rough but more accurate version of Pheonix and Astra's hands.

I'd like to hear other people's opinions on this. If maybe you also noticed it, or if maybe it bothers you now, or if it's not a problem at all.

AGAIN, I'm in no way trying to make a big deal out of this. I am not making an attempt to be politically correct or anything like that. Just bringing attention to it and maybe the hand models can be updated in the future to be a little more accurate.

TLDR; The hand models for black and brown agents in Valorant are inaccurate, compared to how they'd look in real life.
