I've been wondering about this a lot recently, and it's honestly kind of frustrating at times. Why exactly is Chamber allowed to preemptively pull out his operator before the round starts/barrier drops, while Jett has to wait for barrier to drop before she can use her knives? It feels like there's a lack of consistency within the game, but how do you guys feel? Or, is there a specific reasoning for this that Riot made a statement about previously?
Edit: I think the general consensus is that because of Jett’s updrafts, it’d be too OP for her to have her knives pre-round due to the nasty immediate angles she’d have on enemies, i.e Ascent B main window. Sounds fair to me.
Edit 2: I also do not play Jett by the way everyone, I just played her once and was curious about this interaction LOL
