Why are DM respawn timers still a thing?

I am confused as to why this is still a thing in DM. There have been numerous requests to pace up DM including from pros. They already have it in warmup wouldn't this be a quick and easy fix? The developers responded to feedback quickly in the past and I am wondering if I am missing something.

Any clue what time the battle pass ends?

I see that it says “1 day” but does anybody know the exact time? I need to know if I should go ahead and buy the final tier tonight or if I will be able to finish it tomorrow.
