A long time ago I was top 1,000 NA but deranked to low immortal. Instead of going against other real immortals I go against ex-radiants. It's like in order to "prove myself" and rank up to im3 I need to go against insanely good players.
Its like if you're a middle school basketball player and in order to prove yourself to get accepted into a high school team, you're tested by going against the NBA celtics. It just seems wonky and unfair. Sorry to complain, I love this game I just think it can be better if the MMR system was changed
