I tried Overwatch briefly during the holiday event (very briefly, it is beyond terrible), and really liked the fact that you could stay with a group using the 'Stay as Team' option. I realize you could just invite people to your party or friend them, but that process takes longer, is more formal, disrupts the flow between games, and is less likely to be used regularly.
As someone who plays mostly solo queue, I think this is a feature that would be super helpful. I know this has been asked before, but has anyone at Riot ever given a reason why they haven't considered it?
