Why don't I see players using the Guardian as often as other guns?

Hello everybody!

I just started playing Valorant, I'm week 3 now. I noticed that this gun, the Guardian, which I think is really good, isn't used as much as guns like the Phantom or Vandal. Why is this? What makes the gun not used as much, besides it sucking in close range?
