On Reddit and Twitter I've seen a lot of posts about Riot recording in game voice chat to be able to ban people. I might be naive but I don't see the problem with this? I hate the fact that forever people have gotten away with saying anything in voice chats because the only way they get banned is if they get mass reported. Also people are talking about "ulterior motives" in connection with Tencent and the CCP. I mean I don't think you're going to be talking about business decisions or giving your credit card info over voice chat in a video game. So please enlighten me as to why people are so uptight about this.
