Why am I getting so little RR for match MVP?

Hello! I was wondering why am I getting so bad RR for dropping 20+ kills as match MVP in games? I've had 17 wins 4 losses in the past few days and still get like +17 for match MVP and if I have a bad game I get -22 to -25.
