So I'm currently plat 2 and I play a lot with my gold 2 friend. He constantly says that he deserves plat but he struggles to rank up. Clearly, if he deserved plat, he would eventually climb there, but he doesn't. So a couple days ago he payed an immortal smurf to boost him to plat. I just don't really understand why anyone would want to be boosted up to a rank that they can't get themselves.
