I have faced this thing a lot of times. Some people say "Skins but no skills" kind of stuff and mock me ( I didn't even say anything to anyone).
Is it bad to have skins ? I thought I was supporting the developers to keep doing great as this game has been one good thing for me in last couple of years.
I play very bad (iron player) but I have premium/exclusive skins for multiple weapons. Why people are so rude about my money spent on skins when I play bad ? I didn't steal the skins, I bought them with my own hard earned money.
EDIT: I just remembered that once I had a player abusing the other one on voice chat and telling him "bro you are wasting money on skins, you are so bad". After a few rounds the same guy went like "Bro can I have your Prime Vandal ?". The best part about people who have skins is, they always share it with others.
EDIT2: It's a little disappointing that some of the people in comments agree with the "Skins but no skills" stuff.
EDIT3: Buying skins also mean that I am dedicated to the game. I play every day for 1-2 games. Just today I grinded a bit more and reached Bronze.
Many people pointing out that it is possibly a bad financial decision. But I spend $125 over 2.5 years. I mean even a kid can do that by regularly taking some small amount of money from their parents and saving it.
