I’m new, no previous shooter experience at all other than fortnite with the boys. I was gold e5a3, took a break and am now silver 3 e6a2.
I have hs% of 12% and never aim train because people say aim isn’t important but now that I’m trying to improve all the advice is aim train and deathmatch lol. Is this some meta joke in the valorant community or what am I missing? Also it’s hard to believe that aim isn’t important when every smurf I run across just swings and headshot every angle I’m holding.

how much would you love/hate this game mode and why?
imagine a shorter gameplay like swiftplay, but its basketball rules so teams switch between offense and defense after each round rather than at half time
nothing too crazy but im very curious how this would play out, i envision most people...

Lag spikes in VALORANT.
From time to time, I get lagspikes when I shoot or move in VALORANT. But most of the time, when I join a game, I don't get lagspikes. It's always maybe 1 out of 3 games I start getting EXTREME lagspikes. Does anyone know why this happens?

Why are players so quick to give up?
Valorant players mental seems so fkn weak, we were going 8 - 4 then lost 3 in a row and someone began throwing, and another left. We weren't even losing when they chose to give up. I just don't understand what makes people do that.
