Valorant has been steadily increasing the amount of agents to play as. The more agents that get added, the higher barrier of entry is raised for new players who have to learn the game, as well as returning players. Eventually, we’ll get to a point where some agents are rarely ever used, since there’s such a variety of new ones to suit their style.

So what’s going to happen? I doubt the developers will ever stop adding agents… maybe there’s going to be an agent pool that changes every week to restrict the amount that can be picked? I doubt they’ll let the game get to a point where you can choose from dozens of agents.
