To practice I use these two modes in game, but oftentimes after glancing at the scores consciously or unconsciously I start chasing for better scores hindering my practice. I don't know if others face something similar or not. If not I will appreciate your suggestions on this.
For this problem I propose a solution to have an option for the player where they can enter Zen mode for these in game modes.
Practice range in Zen mode
Have a toggle to on or off this mode from the practice range menu
- Unlimited bots spawn:
- The spawn and de-spawn rate will be same as in easy, medium and hard mode but not limited to 30 bots.
- Instead of eliminate 50 or 100, its just eliminate.
- No tracking of points: the score panel could be just blank.
Death match in Zen mode
In a normal death match players can have option to toggle zen mode from game settings.
You play the same death match as before but there is no kill count and character icons are not ordered as their kills in your HUD, no notification when someone is 10 kills or 5 kills away from ending the match and also no chat, I think leaving the timer is okay. You can view your kills after the death match.
I think this will be nice addition to the game and a better environment for practice.
What are your thoughts?
