- Expect nothing but give everything.
- ''Nice try", "please" and "thank you" go a long way.
- Suggest, don't demand.
- If all else fails, remember the only thing you can control is you.
- Communicate your intentions.
- Make proactive comms (eg. "Hey duelist, I'll smoke showers, want to grab your ult orb?")
- Understand that you will not change a player in one game, but you can get a few percentage points more than their usual effort.
- Choose respect even when it's inconvenient.
- Learn to give feedback in a way that fosters conversation.
- Remember who stands to gain or lose "elo" before you say something that will clipped, chopped, and paraded around the internet.
- Your ability to maintain your composure is tantamount to your team's success, especially when someone is underperforming.
