49 Assists in a game???

I recently played with my friend and he got 49 Assists in the game, is this the World Record cause' this is the most i've seen in the game.

What is the best way to improve in valorant? Currently Immortal 1, but can't seem to hold my own.

I don't know if i'm at a plateau, or if im just stuck or what, but i'm not sure what I need to improve, or how to do it. I seem to be mid to bottom fragging every match, and can't seem to get many kills. I don't think i've gotten a single g...
