Whenever I'm playing valorant, and I'm in Gold 2 after big derank after I took a break from starting around plat 2, and I just didn't see any toxicity even If I wasn't doing great. I've been on a losing streak, and have never had a teammate tilt in vc. they scoff at the idea of a surrender and its instantly voted out. Sometimes you get toxic people, but they are outnumbered ever time. Afk's just aren't a problem as they never happen. It seems on this subreddit that it is a large problem, but toxicity just rarely happens.

Isn't the closeness of the game supposed to affect how much you lose? Was Riot just lying all along and we only recently got to see the numbers to prove it? They made a solid argument in favor of the system back in beta, why isn't it (still/ever) in place?
