any idea how to improve with knives

so im a immortal jett main that played csgo before and was global. but i can play her. but often i wiff so hard with the knives any idea how to practice betteer with them. And also is it worth instalocking her. cuz i can never play her in immortal because everyone instalock there apparently

What sounds can the enemy team hear?

Aside from the obvious ones, such as footsteps, shots and reloads. Can the enemy hear when you switch from knife to gun? Can they hear when you equip an ability (ie Sage wall)?
