Hey guys and gals,
I’m currently Plat 2 and I’ve been steadily grinding with some success. I was a hardstuck plat 1 and decided to switch it up by playing only once a day in the morning. I’ve gotten into plat 2 and focused primarily on the quality of my games rather than the quantity and with work, can’t devote much time to it as I’d like.
At the moment today. I’m off of work. I played my one game in the morning and lost my rank up game to Plat 3. I want to keep playing today but can’t help and feel the anxiety and possibility of losing another match. How do you guys combat this?
I keep telling myself that it’s just a game and that this act will be over in a couple months and the ranks will reset etc. I’ve been on the bitter end of losing streaks and I don’t know how I’d feel if I lose my plat 2 status.
I feel like I’m way too attached to the rank. Do you guys have any tips on getting over this? Do you guys recommend just forgetting about the rank system and just play? I try to tell myself this all the time but it’s easier said than done.
