I just started playing valorant today, and played 2 unrated games, one quick game, and one deathmatch. I played as Sage mainly cause I heard that she was good for beginners and used phantom and odin. What are some tips and whats a easy character and gun to use?

Why do the Cred totals differ between the scoreboard (correct) and the hud (wrong) after a round loss? This is an issue that's been around for ages but few people complain about.
I get that you should be looking at the scoreboard for team economy etc so it shouldn't be *that* much of an annoyance, but the value at the bottom right of the screen constantly throws me off about what I can afford for the round.
