So I was wondering if anyone else feel like they play waaay better with specific skins equipped compared to other ones. I don't mean when you pick up a Reaver Vandal and instantly get 5 headshot aces 3 rounds in a row.

I personally feel like I'm more accurate and hit headshots more consistently with the Ion Phantom compared to the other skins I have for Phantom, which include Prime 2.0, Oni and Singularity. All of these skins have the same category of VFX upgrades to them, nothing crazy like the Elderflame set. Same story with the Vandal, Prime vandal and the Sentinels of Light skins make me feel way more comfortable one-tapping and spraying compared to the Elderflame and Ego skins.

I have started to feel bad for not using these expensive skins I've put my hard earned money to and I want to be consistent with all the cool skins I got. Maybe I get too distracted by certain skins (i.e Elderflame) for having special animations or maybe some other psychological issue.

For the record I'm not a ranked demon or a headshot machine, I've ranked in Diamond 3 the past 4 Acts and mainly play Initiator/Controller roles where having insane headshot accuracy is not a requirement. I don't really care for ranking up to Immortal either, I just want to feel good about my gameplay.

So how do I start getting more comfortable with different skins when I always lose with them equipped and feel exponentially worse after each loss? Anyone else feel the same way or have any tips regarding being more consistent?
