Is there a safe platform where I could connect with nice people to play ranked games with? I have been feeling unsafe. I do not usually post about anything, i'm a long time lurker. As a female valorant player (Plat 1) I probably had the worst week of any multiplayer game Ive ever played. I love the game and I want to climb.

I know there are a lot of females that can relate and i know men get bullied as well in this games. I'm fine with the casual toxicity that all games usually have, but lately I have noticed worse and worse treatment when teammates hear my voice. As soon as I speak during some matches, I have guys throwing; they literally say they will and then I get shot with abilities or they just verbally assault me in matches. Its ridiculous. The enemy team tonight was great to us, and my friend backed me up, but the abuse I was getting from our Sova actually ruined the match for everybody in the server to the point I was holding back tears. I had 3 games in a row where my game was thrown because I was a girl.

I can go on and on about how many times this has happened. These are not the only incidents but for it to happen so much in a matter of days just takes a toll mentally.

It is very draining.

Flame me because I am not having a good game. Flame me for my mistakes but do not flame me for being a female. If you hear a girl in your games, treat them like a player and nothing else

I do not want to use my gender as an excuse for my elo. I just find it frustrating that I feel that I have to go through an extra hurdle to just play games, climb and have fun.

With that I just wanted to find some nice people who want to climb and if there are any platforms or discord groups available? .
