Under a week to go(?) until the next battlepass, and I'm just beginning to think about what sort of things I'd like to see from the next battlepass.
First and foremost, I'm really hoping for a nice melee weapon. The Ruin dagger is one that I missed out on as I didn't start playing VALORANT until E1 A3, but the two melee skins I've earned since then haven't been anywhere near that standard of design. I use a Glitchpop dagger, but it's always refreshing to switch between skins from time to time (can't wait for the random skin feature).
Secondly, I'm hoping for some vibrant skins on the guns. The prism guns from the current battlepass are nice, but the Cavalier skins kind of evened these out by being very mundane (although the ghost does look nice!) so it'd be nice to see some injection of colour for some more frequently used guns; maybe a snazzy phantom skin?
I can appreciate that they're essentially 'free' skins that you get simply by playing and that more effort will always be dedicated to bundles, but with the summer months coming up and the Breeze map releasing, some vibrancy would be fantastic to get us into that Summery mood.
Radiante points are always the best part of a battlepass, and I'm sure this is the main reason a lot of us decide to buy this every season, and it's an absolute steal for the price you pay. Earning items alongside playing the game is great, and I really do appreciate everything the devs do for us in this regard.
Do you think the new battlepass will tie into the new map? What sort of skins are you hoping to see?
