I have a little experience in PC Gaming (even though i use a standard laptop for playing all types of games) and I recently started playing Valorant. It's very fun and the gun physics are realistic unlike other FPS or Shooter Games.
As a beginner, I played a few Unrated games to understand the game mechanics and other stuff. And a few deathmatches once in a while for aim training. I am starting to notice that I perform comparatively better in a Deathmatch with a Vandal.
I am main-ing Viper as of now and I'm pretty much aware of her Utility and how they work. Irrespective of abilities, my aim sucks in a game of Unrated/Competitive.
Whereas in a game of Deathmatch, my aim and game sense are both usually pretty good, in my opinion, and sometimes I end up being the match MVP. But in Unrated/Competitive, I whiff a lot and die to enemies' utility or One-Taps quickly. Plus my aim feels worse.
Recently, I played Competitive and got placed in Silver 1 and players here are very skilled and have crisp aim. I feel like I deserve Bronze or even Iron as far as game sense is considered.
Is it because Unrated/Competitive is more intense? Does anyone else have trouble with this? I'm a college student, living in dorm rooms and I play Val to while away my free time. Please feel free to tell me if I can possibly improve, because I really wanna play better.
Glad to be a part of the community, by the way!
