Kinda new to Valorant not very good at it but just looking to play unranked with some people and improve in the game. (Open to criticism)

So I went to bed a Silver 3. I woke up and my Rank is now Gold 2. Even my Act 3 triangle shows I won multiple Gold 2 matches. I have never played any Gold 2 matches. Is this normal? My match history only shows Silver 3 matches.
