I'm relatively new to Valorant (bronze 3) and I like to play Neon, but my friend tells me that she's completely useless and I won't be able to climb with her. In other Riot games like league there is a meta but you can still play characters who aren't at the top and find success. Are bad characters simply not worth playing in Valorant? I hoped that I could reach at least gold/plat with her and then learn meta characters to go higher.
