So, a while back I saw people aiming low whenever they're spraying with the vandal or phantom. And I started doing it too, which got me a bit more kills. But I'm not sure if something changed with an update or something but that ain't working no more, and fuck but it has been challenging getting out of that habit

Committing to your teammates calls is one of the most important part of being good.
Questioning your teammates calls is completely fine, but only after the round ends. If a person is communicating well, they might ask you to do a sub-optimal play that in turn allows them to make the best play possible.
