ive seen quite a few posts on this sub today of people complaining about how premiere mode doesnt fit around their schedule, due to work school or whatever it is that is taking up a large portion of the users lifetime.
in my eyes i see premiere mode as a mode for people who want to play the game with real strategy and REAL competition (ranked queue is just run and gun, and people dont play together or even give comms most of the time). if the casual playerbase fills up the mode it will end up just being a glorified and more complicated version of the already existing ranked queue.
i dont even think a lot of these people know how the mode works, ive seen multiple people think its a mode you can just soloqueue into and get placed on a team with people who want to play competitively as a team.
this mode can be INSANELY beneficial for the games longevity and health, the playerbase has been complaining about how ranked lacks true competitive nature for awhile now and premiere mode will finally provide an outlet for these players to have true competition. a scenario i picture in my head happening is the casual playerbase flooding into premiere mode, then all of them complaining when they get absolutely rolled by a 5stack with insane strats, then riot changes premiere mode to appeal to the casual audience and bam its again, a glorified ranked queue.
