This is a theory I have had for a long time and want to share
Cypher (Aamir) was born in Morrocco some time ago (I'm really bad with age lol). He grew up pretty poor, as evident from his voice line "You think I don't know how to get by without money?". Because of this, I believe he learned to steal at a young age. It probably started as small things, like a loaf of bread or some tea leaves, but I believe as he got older he started stealing more important things, like robbing shops or even banks. And he never got caught. Because of this, I believe he never really learned about consequence or consequences for his actions. I think eventually he started upgrading with the money he stole, and at some point got into bigger heists. During said heists, I think he started having to kill. Because he never learned about consequence, he didn't see the problem with it (I'm basing this off of the line "Ah you forget... I've always been a killer."). Eventually, Cypher became able to support himself, let's say this is a bit before the First Light. Then the First Light happens, Kingdom is founded, and Cypher joins Kingdom so he can send more money back to his family. Cypher eventually meets Nora, his wife (I know it doesn't explicitly say Nora is his wife but I'm just assuming that), and starts his family. At some point, something goes down at kingdom and Cypher's family is killed. Cypher gets extremely angry (duh) and leaves Kingdom, only to soon be invited to the Valorant Protocol.
A lot of the basis for this theory comes from Cypher taking random things from members of Valorant, like a servo from Breach's arms, or a condenser cable from Killjoy's lab. A lot of people think that's just his sort of humor but GAME THEORY HAS BEEN RUINING MY SENSE OF EVERYTHING AND MAKES ME THINK LIKE 2 LAYERS DEEPER OK
Please give your thoughts.
