Does anyone else think that having to upgrade skins after buying them is a really "cringe" concept?

You're already buying a skin for 20 bucks or way more if it's a knife skin but you also need to have a different currency to actually use the full skin. And that currency is not really easily accessible: A small amount from the free battle pass but more likely you need to buy the pass to have a decent amount or buy them for horrendous prices.

For those who play league:
Imagine you bought a legendary skin but to actually get the new voice over and animations you'd have to upgrade it twice for 2000 orange essence each.

If you ever buy a bundle it's more likely than not that you won't have enough radiant points at that point except maybe if you saved and entire battle pass or two worth of them. For variants it's fine imo (like chromas in league), since if it were only for that you'd probably have enough for the ones you want but especially for knifes that cost 40 bucks or more it seems really greedy/ "cringe".

It also feels like it sometimes prevents players from getting the skins they want since they have to think about radiant points every time they want to buy a skin with new animations.

Does anyone else think this or just me?
