I am pretty new to valorant and yesterday I played against a Jett who had an op and he switched to his ult. I managed to kill him as he did so but he didn't drop his op. My friend told me that equipping a classic prevents you from dropping your primary gun but he didn't sound sure. So I am wondering if what he said is true or not
Edit: also would like to know if there is valorant help/question thread so I can appropriately post there next time.

I have never posted but this is such a satisfying experience I had to share
I'm B1 while my bf is D3, so Unrated became our frequent routine. Our team would be of a gradient of players ranging from his elo to mine and same goes for enemy....
