Today was the day, after playing game after game, winning and losing. Riot had me right where they wanted me, stuck in gold. It didn’t make sense to me. Why me I thought, I can do it all. I can’t shoot, play any character and I had pretty good game sense. I figured I would have been plat a long time ago. With all that being said what I didn’t realize was the reason I hadn’t earned play sooner was my own fault. I was the problem.

Being a performance player is a way of life for me so it was hard to face that I hadn’t earned plat yet in Valorant. So as previously stated the reason why I hadn’t ranked up yet was because it was my own fault. I was the problem! A friend of mine told me a story about how someone told him once you realize YOU are the problem than you will climb. That really sat with me, made me change how I looked at the game and how I played too. Sure enough that was the key! I ranked up. I earned the role Platinum 1. With that little bit of information, I’ll be Immortal in no time.
