Last night I couldn't sleep because I was thinking about Chamber. So I thought I would post my SFW thoughts here:
-
Full buy:
Chamber can get a respectable full buy for a maximum of 2000 credits (All bullets in Q, 2 C abilities and full armor). Since the Q is pretty much a pocket guardian an equivalent buy for other agents would be a minimum of 3250 credits excluding abilities. (full armor and a guardian). This is a net difference of 1250+ credits for Chamber. Keep this up for 2 - 3 rounds and you can afford a rifle for your teammate, which could allow someone to save up for OP. -
His pocket guardian(Q):
After playing with Chamber yesterday I noticed that the value of his Q is insane. Just think about the last time you used more than 8 bullets of a guardian before dying or getting a kill (excluding wallbang attempts). This means that if you needed all 8 bullets of your Q to kill someone, and you are able to pickup their rifle you would gain 2900 (Rifle) + 300 (Kill) - 800 (8 Q charges) = 2400 credits! There are also other interesting aspects we can look into like the fact that if you require 3 bullets on average to kill with his Q, the Q ability basically pays for itself. -
His gassed up marshal (Ultimate):
The value just speak for itself you get a marshal with 5 bullets that hits harder than an operator. When used correctly it can single-handedly save eco rounds.
I really like this agent, his abilities affect something much greater than just the single round u use them in. He is really strong but in my opinion balanced and not a must pick because other characters also offer great value in other ways. Thoughts?

It seems like almost everyone hates pearl and I'm not sure why. It feels like a fun simple and small map thats easy to learn. When I play maps like haven or ascent it just feels like theres so much open space and it becomes hard to rotating...

I think there should be a map select in Unrated
I understand not letting people choose their maps in competitive so that you can get everyone playing all the maps and to prevent people from only mastering a few maps.
However, for unrated, there may be times where I want to try some map...
