I remember watching a video about the production behind CSGO majors. The observer setup was absolutely ridiculous, where there's at least 3 or 4 different perspectives, and they had one pivotal element. They had a delay on one of their machines, so that when kills go down the observer knows exactly where to be at the right time. It's impossible to put an actual delay on valorant, so we wind up missing half the kills every match, which I think is absolutely ridiculous.
Edit: Here's ESEA sapphiRe explaining how it works https://youtu.be/0D8BTN4xg5M?t=171 Edit 2: I do agree that it’s not feasible to expect the observers to have the means to have that kind of setup, but given there’s only two games streamed at any given time it’s puzzling as to why riot didn’t supply it.
