Do this at your own risk, I am not responsible if anything goes wrong. To my knowledge this should be safe and most people who have performance issues disable it anyways. I am simply sharing what worked for me.
Try disabling High Precision Event Timer(HPET)I have a ryzen 5800x, with a rx5700 and I've notice many people with the ryzen 5000 series have the same fps issues as me.
80-150fps in training range with bots, lower than expected fps, gpu clocking downI tried everything, reinstalling drivers, turning off Resizable BAR, reverting my overclocks, uninstalling programs, disabling fullscreen optimizations, etc.
Then I disabled HPET through cmd, restarted, and I now get 300-500fps in the range with bots and up to 800fps sometimes.
Instructions:
Run command prompt as Administrator and type bcdedit /deletevalue useplatformclock
Restart computer
To revert the changes back, just run the cmd as admin and type bcdedit /set useplatformclock true
Hope this helps!
