I'm currently in bronze but I mostly play unrated. Since I started playing I had a lot of improvement and got to the point where I was consistently placing in the top 5 in each game, used my util effectively and could hit consistent headshots with good crosshair placement. But recently I've been deteriorating in skill a lot and it's frustrating because I know what I'm doing wrong and even though I try to correct my mistakes it still seems like I'm dying the same exact ways: I'm either instantly one-tapped when peeking or holding an angle, panicking and whiffing, or just overall poor decision making that makes little sense (like why should I be peeking aggressively when I know I'll be walking straight into their crosshairs? Why am I playing so predictably?).
My crosshair placement's deterioration also plays a huge part in me not doing so well... everyone always swings too wide or narrow relative to my crosshair, and I find it so hard to predict how enemies peek the same angle because whether they swing wide or narrow for that angle is random. I end up either whiffing entirely or have to take an extra half second to readjust if I'm not one-tapped instantly.

I know it's a legitimate part of the game, but I love that the community promotes no tilt = success
