Has Riot said anything about the constant server issues in the LATAM servers ?

What the title says,has Riot even acknowledged the constant server issues going around with the LATAM servers,particularly the Santiago one ?

I installed this game around a month ago and every single day I have a match where the entire server starts lagging like crazy.And it's not the kind of lag where you have a 20 ms ping that suddenly spikes to something like 90,oh no, these lag spikes are the ones where every player suddenly gets a 600 ms to 1000 ms ping,making the whole game unplayable. Makes me wonder how the fuck did KRU managed to land a spot in Reykjavik lol.

I was considering trying ranked but with servers like these,and no guarantee that Riot will fix them,I guess I shouldn't.
