so to be honest i was under the impression this whole time that dodging shots was as simple as moving left and right unpredictably and counter strafing in between directions. i was wondering why i felt like my movement rarely helped me so i went into deathmatch and decided not to shoot people and only focus on movement.
what i found out is that my movement seems to do nothing against even a slightly competent player. i would either get headshotted before i even get a chance to change direction or they would tag me in the body once and get an easy spray down because now im standing still.
so it seems theres a lot more to movement than i thought because high level players make themselves hard to hit against other pros. how can i make myself hard to hit at least against plats?
