I recently got into this game to play with my gf and while she's really good I always lag behind and can't seem to get better. This of course leads to some intense emotions that I really don't want to feel. Especially when it comes to toxic players.
Is there any general advice about the game I can use to at least stand a decent chance in matches. (I'm a cypher main to be clear)

Valorant’s community has such a loser mentality
Not sure if this is regularly spoken about here, but when my team loses a few rounds, or the game doesn’t go our way, it is very common to see people give up, forfeit or just leave the game.
